Mr. Kiser practices in the governmental, environmental and administrative law areas at Holland & Knight LLP, Tallahassee, Florida. Early in his career, Mr. Kiser served in the Florida House of Representatives for 10 years, was the Republican minority leader for four years and then another 10 years in the Florida Senate. Dr. Weissert assumed the directorship of the Institute in October of 2007. She is also the LeRoy Collins Eminent Scholar Chair and Professor of Political Science at Florida State University.
