Elizabeth Lindsay

Photo of Elizabeth LindsayMs. Lindsay holds a bachelor’s degree from Thomas A. Edison College and a master’s degree in business administration from University of South Florida, Tampa. She has been recognized as a distinguished USF alumna and was awarded an honorary doctorate of business in 2001.

Ms. Lindsay is a Licensed and Certified Building Contractor and maintains professional membership in the American Society of Interiors Designers. She has been a partner of L3 Farms, a vegetable and citrus operation in Manatee County, since 1986.

Her countless hours of volunteer service for numerous organizations have benefited Sarasota and other communities. She directed a $10 million campaign to build Sarasota’s Asolo Center for the Performing Arts and is co-founder of the Sarasota Women’s Exchange. She received the Florida Recognition Award from the Florida Arts Council and has been recognized as a Goodwill Citizen of the Year.

Ms. Lindsay is and has been a member of many boards and foundations, including the Ringling College of Art and Design, the New College Library Association, United Way, Hospice and Mote Marine Laboratory. She is a past chair of the Florida Board of Regents and is currently active with the USF Sarasota/Manatee Regional Campus having recently been appointed to its Campus Board.
