Ms. Thayer is an attorney and shareholder in the Macfarlane Ferguson & McMullen firm in Tampa, Florida. She holds degrees from Hollins College in Virginia and Columbia University in New York and is admitted to practice law in the States of Florida, New York and New Jersey.
Ms. Thayer serves as President and Director of Tampa Bay Downs, Inc., a thoroughbred race track and also serves on the boards of numerous organizations, from local to international levels. She has been recognized in the Tampa Bay Business Journal, Who’s Who in Business in the Tampa Bay Area, and received the University of South Florida President’s Distinguished Citizen Award.
